Impasse. At first blush, a really simple Flash game. And then, not so simple after all.
The Official Gay Card. Take the quiz to receive your accreditation. I could only answer three of the twenty-five questions in the affirmative, which makes me a “closet warmer”. Who was I kidding? Probably no one.
1001 Flash Games. Does what it says.
Mountain Maniac. Send angry boulders down the mountain and into the innocent town below. Colecovision-style, walk-around-hitting-stuff type game. That goat totally deserved it.
Countries of the World. I used to study the globe and atlases for hours on end as a kid, so I thought this would be a breeze. Not so much!
Monkey Kick Off. Kick the ball and beat my score. Go on, try.
Stick Scene. Fancy yourself a movie buff? You’ll have no trouble guessing the titles of famous films, based on crude drawings of their promotional posters. Well, maybe you’ll have a little trouble.
Snowstorm. If you’ve been moving snow around like I have, this will be a welcome break. I can’t get past level five, myself.
Reflex Games. Challenges based on speed and, well, reflexes. I’m totally not fast enough to hang with this. (Submitted by one of our fine readers. Thanks!)
Hallowe’en Hangman. A skeleton talks trash while you pick your letters. Timely and fun.
The Riddle. Said to be the hardest riddle on the internet. I think you people can show them what’s easy and what isn’t, hmm?
Miniball. Perhaps the best foosball game going, once you get a handle on the controls, that is. Get it, handle? Yeah.
Match Age. In the style of those hot-or-not type sites, this is one where you take a guess at how old the person in the picture is. Tough.
Quiz Em All. Just like it sounds, a site full of quizzes – but not the usual stuff. The ‘net nostalgia’ quiz totally kicked my ass, and made me feel old at the very same time.
Weboggle. That most maddening word game, without the noisy dice shaking around in the plastic box thing. Which means you can play when the kids are in bed. So that’s cool.
